Today I wish I could read your mind,
And stroll through the forest
that grows behind your eyes
or tip toe
through mine fields
that explode
with every step.
Everyday,
Walls are built
to keep things out,
as much as they are built,
to keep them in.
And if those walls,
that block your tongue
crumble,
what would escape?
If there was no sugar,
I wonder how bitter things would be.
Would poison pass from your lips,
and sicken me,
or would ambrosia
lift me to the heavens?
If you couldnt lie,
what would you say?
If you couldnt hide the truth
what would I say?
Eh im not sure its finished or if i even like this writing but i figured id post it anyway before i save it somewhere forget it, and never look at it again.
