Last weekend I went to Amila Island with my mom and sister. We stayed a an adorable B&B for the weekend. We drank and had a damn good time. Meet a horse names dixon and failed to find any pirates. We ate some banging chocolate covers blue berry's and some find Portuguese cuisine that blew our mind! Every one was supper nice and we made allot of new friends. Then Sunday morning my mom got a call from my step dad. "are you ok! Have you heard from Mary?" Mary is her partner they own the shop "The Brass Pineapple" together. Over the past week her Kate her four year old daughter youngest of three had been sick, pale and getting bruises on her arms. She said no one hit her nor had she fallen, then these strange red dots were appearing on her legs and all the color was washed from her skin. So that Friday they took her to the doctors and they rushed her to St. Marys medical center were she was diagnosed with leukemia. This tears at my heart! Mary and her family are a big part of my family and I think its unfair that some one so young should have to go through this. He family has gone through allot as have many. I just feel like with all that has gone over the past few years her family deserves a break. The ones who deserve it the most get delt the worse hand. On the up side it was found in one of the earliest stages and is the easiest to cure. She starts chemotherapy on Tuesday. I know she will get better, shes has a great family and there all so strong she couldn't ask for a better support team! I love them very much and couldn't imagine this world with out all three of those kids! <3

What is it with 2008? I'm glad you had a great time at amelia Island. (thats near Jax right?) It just seems so wrong for a 4 year old to go through all of that. It has to be hard just to explain the situation to a 4 year old. I hope it all works out for the best. At least they found it early.
