I'm sick with a sinus/upper respitory infection. Bleh. I had to skip work last night because of it. I attribute both to having worked on the back deck of my parents' house for the first week or two I was here; overnight temperatures regularly dipped into the low 60s, which is downright freezing for someone who is using having their Septembers in the mid-90s, even after dark. This is all compounded by crushing homesickness.
My aunt keeps sending me $20 and $30 cheques, so I bought a few DVDs to keep myself entertained during non-work, non-sleep hours. They include:
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (widescreen edition)
Immortel (ad vitam) (widescreen edition)
Lost: The Complete First Season (HDTV edition)
I've watched none of them so far, but I will admit that Evangeline Lilly (Kate from "Lost") is beautiful. In fact, her visage graces my laptop's desktop wallpaper at the moment.
While on the subject of movies, my Hollywood screenwriter brother now has a page on the IMDb. His first credited work. And weeeee.
Anyway, back to blowing my nose until it starts hurting again, and then it'll be time for more NyQuil and melatonin. Good night/day to you all.
