Why why why?!
I'll never get home at this rate.
BTW, I didn't end up going to NO on Sunday. Too much confusion about which roads were open, which were closed, and whether or not the military would let people into my area of Jefferson Parish.
I've been looking for reports of my kitties on petfinder.com and other, similar resources. No joy yet. At this rate I'd be surprised if I ever saw either of them again.
I had a shoulder to cry on last week but I've a sneaking suspicion that I'm going to need another pretty soon. Barring that, I bought some self-labeled "HUGE" bed pillows that I guess will do in a pinch.
In the meantime, I think I'm getting sick. Breathing problems, lots of gooey phlegm (mmm!), and that general head-funkiness that comes with sickness. That being the case, I'm taking off from work early tonight in hopes that I can sleep away whatever is coming on strong. If not, well, I guess it'll be another 4:30am run to the Kroger to pick up some NyQuil and Vicks Formula 44.

brankauti:
I hope you recover from the sickness soon, and I am keeping my fingers crossed for your kitties and home. Good luck to you. *hugs*
