I think I did it. I think I got a new job. Not the career-track dream job I'd hoped for, but I think I'm getting out of the ol' taco shack! Anyway, some guy's supposed to call me to discuss when I can come in and train at the new place. Scared to get too excited b/c I'm half-afraid that they won't call or will change their minds or something.
It's difficult to leave a job you've had for two years, even if it was just a 'job.' I never thought I'd leave for another service industry job; My current job was supposed to bridge that college-to-career gap for me, but I just can't wait any longer and I haven't started a 'career'. It's time to move on. I still need to search, thoroughly and patiently, for 'big girl' jobs, of course. The ever elusive salaried-with-benefits position. Sigh.....Guess I'm in a tough market for those types of positions.
Took a yin yoga class today. It was amazing. Soooo deep. Gentle, but incredible. My hips opened up a lot. You never know you have tight hips until yoga and then once you start working on them.....WOW. Gets you closer to how you're supposed to feel in your body. That yin class in particular. I'm much less fatigued after work than normal.
I'm so excited about taking a new step in life, even if it is more of a sideways move than a definitive move forward. Change just excites me. It seems like everything's new and anything can happen!
