You sound like me. I wish I had time for some quality pampering.

They were not quite as overdone with surfshops as a lot of beaches, but there are tons of houses and condos and hotels. I could imagine wanting to kill the locals and tourists alike. It has it's pretty locations, but most of those are undeveloped, thankfully. I would say that there is more of a night life in wilmington. the open hours of places there are too seasonal tourist dependant. I am glad I went though. The walk on the beach was quite nice.

A friend from ohio came to vist me this weekend, too. We drove to wilmington. He saw the beach, we walked a bit. He had his fill, so we didn't even stay for nightlife. I just took him home and fixed him a birthday dinner. I made veggie taquillos with wheat tortilla and homemade guacamole, homemade refried blackbeans, spanish rice, and salsa. I wish I had the time to make some salsa, that was just store bought, but it was good.

Anyway, so what's your next steps? Where are you headed -- is this about life, financially, ???
