We call her 'Mother'...........
....and whenever you feel 'beat' like beat down heavy with sorrow worn out overheated with evil summer
or unemployed , broke , with way too much time on ones hand - we go to her.
Something about water that helps iron out the days ahead and it's only a 1/4 mile away from me.
the forbidden zone.
about a stone throw away from New Brunswick train station off the 'corridor '
where I bought that lantern concrete lawn jockey from, the antique store now set for demo
and the old gentleman who owned it passed on into - western lands.
F-troop
Every weekend the police and hip hoppers clash in a game of cowboys n indians in this lot,
red and blue disco lights bouncing off the parking deck as an Amtrack blasts by doing 90,
I saw it once from above in the parking deck
- the cops just waited till they had #s and moved in with 8- 12 cop cars
on about fifty 20 something year olds that were in a state of near riot.
both sides must love the game 'cause they always come back for more & more & ....
Two French Bicycles, a 1982 Peugeot PH10
and a 1973 Paris Sport.
The PH 10 rides smooth and is light weight,
I'm trying to sell it for $300 but so far no takers.
The Paris Sport has some good stuff written about it on the interweb ,
could be from Northern France ? or from N.J.?
to bike people 'Paris Sport' has this mystical property to it
- more of a sprint bike I might put it up for $450-600? on C-list
I like writing up ads for stuff I sell even if I dont sell a lot of stuff
and I love after being insulted with low ball offers and telling grown men that
"no you cant have this bike" and "no I will not give you a reason -fuck off"
I think its important to say no every now and then kind of like giving balance to the 'FORCE' (star wars)
I remember one winter I cursed out this guy who gave me a hard time over this pinball machine I was selling,
I think it was for $500 and he wanted it for $50 , I gave him so much shit that his wife or gf called me up and cursed me out in Mandarin ......
