Well you know I took a break from the' pinball ' this summer and got into vintage bikes,
I'm into 1960s - 1970s ten speeds for the most part but also digg other types of bikes.
sold 5 bikes in the last couple months you wont get rich but if you enjoy doing it
the money you do make funds the next project kind of like 'self funded' ..........
French, English, Italian , Atom or Regina freewheel Simplex to Huret shifters etc etc
Anything off beat or without a Shimano drive I collect but if it's a quick flip
it could even be a Huffy.
A few things I've learned
-Avoid dealing with older people say err....?.post 50 yrs
-Avoid phone calls, "hey give me a call at this # lets talk" - ahh NO lets not
-watch out for the Bike Mafia over in Highland Park they are crafty
-every now and then tell the buyer he cant have it - whenever you get that bad feeling about a person.
usually intuition has some merit

my FAV so far
I always thought of cycling as getting from point A - point B ,
or just exercise you know- dont blow the knees out running - bike instead .
so perhaps there is a more social side of all this............
