Its the Summer and I find myself outside most of the time now and very little on SG,
but thats ok -for me SG is more of a winter escape more than anything else.
So July 4th -

The Christ Church had a reading that day of the declaration of Independence
after it was signed way back when it was taken on the road (copy) and read to the people.
New Brunswick was the third reading on that trip

Well I slept kind of late that day and it was all but over but still I took some time to look around a bit.
I love going into old buildings and walking around. everyone was really nice hard to tell if it was
a real nice or a Starbucks coffee kind of nice?

Well this church like most are in the decline with memberships falling as the elders slip into the past,
get togethers open to the public also serve as recruitment drives, I did think how nice it would be to meet new people as I climbed the bell tower -kind of peaceful with all that history and happy smiling faces about.
An old stone place with thick wrought Iron fencing to defend its dead
the writing on some stones only known to the shadows that still haunt .

Across the street is a high brow corporate kind of head shop, I never see anyone in the joint
kind of makes you wonder how they pay the rent???
I like the window display -psychodelic mannequin paintings -OH Yeah !
love to have one not sure what I'd do with it but -err?? just got to have it

Reflections of Autumn Fade?

So who are the Episcopals? what are they into? and the Anglican Communion?
got a nice ring to it -Peace
