Late night T.V. sucked and then I stumbled upon PBS
The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus
not a big fan of the stones but 1968 wow
I mean today you look at the stones you see old druged out
rockers with years of erosion the spark in the eye is hard to find
but back when they were young, yeah it was worth staying up late
what I noticed most is the color what people wear, bright eye opening color
the happy kind of color even crazy pants striped color.
the sprit of the 60s I want to think one day everyone will brighten up
throw away the 'gun to my head' clothing and style of today-black
I was stuck at a light last year ,you know how hot it can get in july
I look over to the grave yard and all the stones are the same -silver, like
they were punched out of a machine. and if you asked a guy or a lady that
you find about their loved one I bet they would paint a pic. of color in what they
were like. I turned back to the light and about to go when I noticed the 5 cars
around me were alike- all silver the same kind of shape just like the stones in that
graveyard across the street. stay away from black and silver -stay away
