Here's to the greatest week of my life (possibly) - pictures below:
Starting in San Francisco on Tuesday night and dragging on until the time of this writing. TsuShiMaMiRe headlined what can only be considered as a perfect tour (many thanks to AudreyTokyo for everything. you rock). All of the bands were GREAT. Stance Punks were unbelievable-- but nothing compares to TsuShiMaMiRe
...At the end of the first amazing night- Mari, Vocals and guitar for TsuShiMaMiRe told me I had to skip my Wendsday class and go see them on the last night of the tour in LA- which she affectionately called "TsuShiMaMiRe school" as an excuse for me to go, I told her I would try my best and said a very sad goodbye thinking it was impossible to actually make it there in 18 hours.
...About 20 minutes later I got home by cab and made a few phonecalls for a place to crash and a ride to the gig. my buddy Pat stepped up and I immediately booked a flight to LA at 3am (11.5 hours notice) and took off that afternoon, arriving in LA at 3pm. Met up with my buddy Pat and got a little relaxing in before the final show- the greatest night of my life. ever.
I really can't describe the shows in words at all, so I won't even try. Heres some silly and awesome pictures of my impulsive perfect emergency 30 hour trip to LA
Yayoi setting up in LA!
TsuShiMaMiRe at the Knitting Factory in LA!
RAARRRR! Yayoi, Mari, and Mizue of TsuShiMaMiRe!!!
Stance Punks- Tsuru- hahaahahahh
Tsuru, myself, and Kenichi of StancePunks. Tsuru is the most energetic person on stage in the history of the world, and Kenichi and I had a blast breakdance fighting.
Me making a squished face!
Mari making a squished face (I forgot to that time!)
...and then Mari wore my goggles, what a great impression of me!!!!
Me and AudreyTokyo- she has a great hat, an amazing record label(BENTEN records!), and is incredibly nice!
I really don't know what else to say- In the end I was only in LA for 30 hours, yet it was the best time I'd ever had there. I can't wait to see all these bands again when I get to Tokyo in September.
I'm really going to miss all of them. I'm honored to know such great people who come visit from so far away.
...and now for a good sleep.

PS- Unfortunately there are no pictures of me Vs. Kenichi breakdance fighting at the end of the night (that I know of.)- theres a video of it somewhere, but I doubt I'll ever see it!
