I agree. There's this huge debate going on around here because my old high school started the "Gay and Straight Alliance" (GSA) as an afterschool activity. Now, all these morally sound Christians are protesting and petitioning to get the teacher who started it fired (who also happens to be one of the best teachers in that school) and the club thrown out. Meanwhile, they have their "Fellowship of Christian Athletes" (FCA) meetings in the same way after school. I say if the GSA has to go, so does FCA. I wish they had the GSA when I was still in high school. I may be straight, but homosexuality isn't wrong, and I would have joined 100% supporting their right.

Oh, and it should go without saying that I support gay marriage too.

It is kind of like what my dad says about our education system in the US. Instead of "leave no child behind" we need to be more like the education systems in the rest of the world "leave the stupid behind"

I do understand your passion and it's great (you go girl), but think how much less fun the world would be without stupid opions????
