the roof is a good place to shoot, although the roof on my parents house is pretty high up and is pretty steep so shooting would be hard. shooting on some of the roofs of the buildings on campus would be possible, since they leave a lot of them unlocked. one of them is next to a huge air handler for the chem building, on a steel deck they built around it for servicing...


ive been rather bored the past week as well and havent started working for the summer yet since my workplace requires a background check among all sorts of security measures and the NJ background checks are taking forever and a day this year, which means more money out of my pocket.

the A&P nearby me recently added wine and beer, and when the cashier is under 21 they need to call over someone who is over 21 to scan the bottle and bag it. bergen county is notoriously strict about liquor licenses, so this doesnt surprise me.


i've applied to CVS and didnt have any luck with them, ditto for walgreens [very long story, and in retrospect it's really good I didnt work for them anyway since it's going to make my life easier in the future]. i did get hired on the spot at my local drug fair. my job this summer and last summer are both for the same company, getting the job because of connections within the company. still see what you can do, dont be afraid to go out and see what's available, and really try all your options. i got the drug fair job since i figured id call em up and see if they were hiring and they were...

the people who work in school offices in general can be real morons. ive found it far more effective to track down the person i need to speak to [dean, professor, etc] than speak with their secretary [who just tells me to email the person, which never works with half the overpaid morons at my school].


taking summer classes till that late is rough - worst lab ive ever taken is organic chem lab [which is up to 4hrs 20 min long, if you need to stay the whole time] - the lab reports for that class were ridiculously wrong and ridiculously stupid busywork. such a waste of my time, but it's required for my major so i had to do it.

There sometimes are people skateboarding outside in the courtyard area by where I live, it's a decent place for it. It's prolly a whole lot harder than it looks, since youve got to keep balanced, etc.

Prolly not the best of places to be taking someone who is pretty sensitive like that, but as you said people who know should be respectful.

unprofessional people like that really do piss me off. them and those morons who come into class consistently late for no real reason.
