I hope this applies for this weeks blog homework - we have been asked by @missy and @rambo to write about our summer plans. I don’t have any specific plans for this summer however I do have a few small trips I would like to make before the summer ends.
I am planning to take a long weekend trip to the Grand Canyon and down to Hoover Dam as I have never seen either and I would like to do both before this summer is up. I hear there are some pretty cool hiking trails at the Grand Canyon and I really enjoy hiking.
I am planning a weekend at Joshua Tree, also somewhere I have never been. I enjoy the outdoors and camping. Any camping I have done has been in forests, so I thought I wanted to try the desert this time. I hear it’s nice around late August.
I have a trip planned to Arizona in August to visit family. I go every year just to relax and get away. I normally stay for an extended weekend. I eat, drink and sleep way too much. I love going to AZ. Always the most relaxing weekend of my year.
I don’t have anything too exciting planned for my summer. I just like to get out of the city and relax. I like to see things I haven’t seen and enjoy having new experiences. I don’t like making specific plans so at some point before summer end I will make these things happen.
