oh pascipio I get so bummed hearing stories like that I'm so sorry!! One of my girls has a gnarly scar on her face from being attacked by one when she was an infant...they are powerful creatures that can do a lot of damage if they want to NO DOUBT- I used to work as a groomer though and I tell ya- be suspicous of cocker spaniels and chihuahuas- they are the real killers ;-)
I agree that cruelty to companion animals is beneath contempt. I do admit to being suspicious of pit bulls ever since I was attacked by one.
