Yep, SuicideGirls definitely seems cheapened by the surplus of girls willing to bare it all to the camera for attention. I once thought of it as more than a soft-core porn site...something further on the artsy side of the fine line that separates art and pornography. Nude photography is beautiful because lighting, composition, aesthetically appealing and interesting poses all add up to the most beautiful and/or compelling presentation of the model. Pornography is baring it all for the sake of sex and other base level desires. Art appeals primarily to the eyes, pornography appeals initially to the groin. It's Bettie Page versus Penthouse.
I'd like to think that they once maintained a sort of integrity by critiquing and approving sets with an discerning artistic eye , looking for not only the beauty of form and the atmosphere of sets, but also an attitude of confidence and strength. I imagined a Suicide Girl to be what Missy describes on the DVD, a woman that doesn't need to be told she's beautiful because she knows she's beautiful. I don't get that from the sets anymore.
I once felt like I could easily justify why I subscribe to this site to people who hadn't heard of it, but now it's getting harder. I feel less inclined to support it. Then again, less people from work are less likely to stumble across this than Myspace.
What do YOU think about it all?

I never really look at the sets anymore, I just use this site as a way to meet people who are into the same lifestyle / countercultures that I'm into. Plus it gives people something in common that they might not otherwise have.
Besides... if you need justification as to why you're on the site anymore... just go "because that awesome dude TheScottness is on here"
that's all the reason you need.
p.s. I'M BACK IN LA PUNK! YEAH!
