You jest, but I do believe that is the third of the three most hated professions (not sure, though). I just remember the first day of my first class in my undergrad major (journalism), our professor (a world-weary newsman straight outta the Hudsucker Proxy) walked in and said, "Congratulations. You are about to embark on a long arduous road that will eventually provide you with a degree that amounts to little more than a learned trade in a field that doesn't require it in order to work in a profession that is the second most hated profession on earth."
I am greatly looking forward to getting back to tha NYC. I shan't be hopping around too much, though, as I'm mostly going to spend QT with the little lady. Plus, most of my friends will be out of town, I think.
Do you have a big-firm job lined up for when your clerkship is over? If so, DON'T TAKE IT!!
By hook or crook I'm going to get a copy of Codex Seraphinianus. This place has it for around $255 plus postage, but that's still a bit too much for me right now.
