Playing on the radio was exciting (of course) and it reminded me what an amateur I am when it comes to these things. We weren't able to get in the Greek tune, so my singing radio performance debut will have to wait...

For all of you sad, beautiful people who missed it, apparently Kutay archives his shows for a few months, so you can find it on the web here:

Click on 'Show Archive' and follow the links logically. Then go to about the halfway point of the show (as we went on an hour and ten minutes into a 2 hour broadcast).

Tomorrow morning I will be playing music on KPFA 94.1 to promote the Kolo Festival next weekend in San Francisco.

If anyone is at all interested in/curious to know what the kind of music I play is like, here's your opportunity!

I will be playing with my father's group, Staro Vino (current working name), and we will be playing a tune apiece from Serbia, Macedonia, and Greece. There's even a chance you might hear me sing in/butcher Greek.

We will be on Kutay Derin Kugay's Music of the World at exactly 11:10AM.
