keep checking constantly to find info on US availability - apparently a few have shown up in Europe already. I pre-ordered it from Amazon the day it was announced, so I'm fairly optimistic, they do first come first serve. Full 1080p video with Canon L glass...swoon. Depth of field with my 85mm 1.2 II L, 35mm 1.4 L and 200mm 2.0 IS L will be sick I'm gonna connect a big ass microphone to the hot shoe of that bad girl One can photograph (this beast shoots 10 frames per second at 16MP) while filming...whole new possibilities for weddings, among other things. I sold my 5D and lil Leica, so now I have a 1D Mark III, 1Ds Mark III and hopefully soon this monster. Waiting is killing me

If it's windy, the included Dead Kitten (yes, that's what it's called...my cats won't like that) comes in handy...although I can only imagine the looks one gets with that attached
