Rough Week Ahead

Today is my first Mother's Day without Mom and Thursday will be my first birthday without her. This week is going to suck and be filled with tears.

My days are filled with as much as I can pack in to keep myself distracted, but my thoughts are never far from her right now despite my best efforts.

I just needed a place to say that I lost my mom to COVID-19 yesterday and that I'm actually devastated even though I have to put on a composed face for family. I know no one is going to read this, but ... I just needed to get it out there somewhere. Gonna miss you, Mom.

Fuck this goddamned virus.
