got dragged to the Austin Bridal Extravaganza today....
went with the girl and met up with her mom there, mom's new beau in tow.....
wow. it was madness. there seemed to be this contingent of really big people who were just there for all the free food samples.... they'd send different little delegations to the booths to get cake etc for all them...
we found a suitably gay wedding planner guy.. he's very cool!!!
after .. we went up to this shop that specializes in items from Ireland and Scotland... there we found our wedding rings (well, not ours-- we have to special order them from the lady who makes them ) They are pretty rad.
Took the girl out skateboarding last night..I had set her up a board and we went to this real mellow parking garage to let her learn some stuff... nice time... until her ears started hurting (it was kinda cold and windy)
but hell yeah.
