i choked last night. i was all set to draw the real version of one of my comics stories im pitching... aaaannnd i choked. committing to actual ink is scary. ive written a script, examined the panel to panel changes, edited it, nailed down the character designs... but finishing the deal? not last night. i went to bed at 6pm (hiding) and slept till midnight. then i lay awake most of the night beating myself up while the wind pounded my windows. 
i went to the coffee shop this morning and did 3 solid hours of character explorations for another project. but... i wont let myself count hours spent in a coffee shop as work, because theyre so prone to socialization. and now ive been on the internet dicking around 2 hours. ima start drawing, and if i can stay up till 9 or 10 im sure ill sleep well, and be on a more normal wake pattern.
also, im a tad obsessed with going through the itunes collection i inheritted (26 gigs!!!) and deleting that which does ot groove me. i remember i deleted some eddy veder stuff last night, and it looks like sublime is going to stay. theyre not bad for right now.
the free music is a weird thing. since it was free, im compelled not to waste it, but to explore it. you never know what youll like till you listen to it. but listening to new stuff is work. im evaluating if it might grow on me. ugh. ive got to listen to a gig of pearl jam, and i dont know which is worse, throwing it away and being a snob, or actually being a pearl jam fan.
so, anybody want a gig of pearl jam?
