I met with a very nice surgeon this morning that checked out my cyst and said it is the result of ingrown/infected hair follicles. He said that I need to go to an actual operating room to get it surgically removed....

Good luck with the surgery! My grandmother had to have a similar thing done a couple of years back, but it has healed up pretty well. She tells my younger cousins that some one shot her with a bow and arrow, and that's how she got the scar. Haha
