Well I suppose that I should write an actual blog and let you guys know what is going on with me over here.
I'm in Korea (I'm sure you are thining "Duh") but the whole experience thus far is somewhat hard to express. It was quite a transition. I still wake up in the mornings and it takes me a few minutes to realize where I am and what I am doing here. The country is beautiful and there are mountains practically on my door step that I have the pleasure of seeing on a daily basis. However... the humidity is something that I could do without. I still haven't formed an opinion on the regular Army as of right now. I'm sure given the time I will have more thoughts about it but right now (shrug).
My knee is still hurting. The post here is extremely hilly which is not helping me out whatsoever. I have to wait another 12 days to see a doctor on post unless I want to get on a bus and try to go somewhere else to see a doctor. As of right now I'm trying to take aspirin and pray that it gets me through the day but right now its a struggle. I used a can for a month when I was still at AIT and I may have to get it back to get around here until I can get back on Physical Therapy. I hate being broken like this, especially coming into a new unit, but its out of my control.
Overall I'm doing okay... not great and not bad just kind of floating right there in the middle. For now I"m sure it will have to suffice.

while you are there during your free time, try to make the most of the gorgeous surroundings and enjoy the culture. so many soldiers complain about how the whole country is a shit hole, but if they truly opened their minds to new things by exploring off post they'd enjoy it more instead of hemming and hawwing on post the whole time

Wishing you the best over there!!
