tiger army has some awesome lyrics as well as awesome songs. i normally don't talk about music when i post shit in journals, but now is an exception. i think they're best stuff is "incorporeal" and "true romance".

speaking of music, AFI's new cd comes out march 11th. i already have it and it's really fucking good. it has harcore punk in there, but it's ultra experimental, so it's really fucking weird. just think of a hardcore song, then cut out in the middle of it and throw in some hardcore industrial/techno, and then switch back, and then go into an instrumental with stings. besides having the best live show i've ever seen, i'm constantly impressed by their evolution. if anyone hasn't seen them live, do. It's not like any other show you've ever seen. No special effects or fancy lighting, just and unbelievable ammount of the most raw energy you have ever seen.

i just realized how long this entry is getting and it's ridiculous. i think it's because i'm drunk and i get talkative with a few drinks.

while on the subject of music, i'd like to talk about Wizo. Two words: German punk. Increadible and funny as hell. I have a cd and t-shirt of their's in the mail right now. They do an awesome cover of Ace of Base's, "All That She Wants".

while i'm at it (hahah), i should mention CKY will be at the Emerson march 21st. Good shit. I saw them in october and it was really good. Even better was that Ryan Dunn was there, stage diving off the p.a.'s. It's only $10, so there's no reason not to go.

Ok... I think that's enough for now. Time to do another shot and pass out. I need to stop drinking this 100 proof vodka like it's the regular shit. It's bound to get me in trouble sooner or later.
