pentax finally released another revolutionary camera to replace my k10d. the k7d has in body hdr, apparently perfect awb, auto lens ca & distortion correction, copyright in the exif, a faster/improved focus system, a lock pin on the mode dial!!! (i fucking hate when i spin the dial accidentally and don't notice), 4 channel output from the sensor, iso 50 & 6400 (i really wanted 50), the max shutter doubled to 1/8000, af assist lamp, 16 digital filters to be applied from raw for in camera processing (think photoshop in the camera), 100% vf coverage, and uh .. misc stuff that's less exciting.

i'm gonna get me a new camera later this year

oh yeah, it's smaller than everything in it's class.
