i have a full day work shop to attend today to refresh my interviewing; and i really don't wanna attend 'cause i had planned a bunch of IT work @ home to prep a new dev box to work with ... to prep for the contracts i'm being bid on... so i'm kinda torn. if i go, i probably won't get this work done until next week 'cause i have a dev peer group meeting to attend tomorrow.
i'm really not sure which is more important. self teaching or being told that I need to do X better (sit/look less like me?). i'm not sure what i could learn today if i go to that work shop; i signed up thinking i needed to be there to get access to the 'learning center' offered by the program. shrug.
it starts in 45 minutes.
update: i ended up skipping the workshop and i'm almost ready to retool 2 pcs into their new roles; and get my raid5 back on the lan. a wireless fileserver is useless.
