i'm pretty sure i'm over the hump of dealing with the wisdom teeth extraction; i'm feeling pretty good today. my appetite is back hard core, i had a meal of butter/garlic rice last night and now i'm thinking of how to fill the void in my belly. maybe beer? shrug, that might work out .. or be a bad scenario
i'm not sure how my bid/pitch with the brewery owner went; it was a pretty quick phone call followed up with an email of diff types of sample shots. worst case scenario i keep looking for work.
my meeting with the recruiter went awesome yesterday. we planned to talk for an hour and went closer to three. i had far more info to give than he expected, so we really filled out out the bid & created an awesome base resume/cv for future work. i'll know in a couple of weeks how it goes. worst case scenario i take my new resume and hit the private sector while i wait to get my first gov contract. once you have one, it's like your foot in this door to an awesome club of reoccurring/well paying work
the stark contrast to how things are done compared the last contract is surprising and at the same time a let down. i clearly got caught up in company politics while trying to get retards to work with industry standard methods.

Nah, I haven't used a 16-50. Despite your advice against it, I actually got a 16-45 f4. It was less than $300 new, so... I've actually been happy with the image quality; it's color/contrast/sharpness are all good wide open (though f4 isn't really super wide). But I also have an FA 50 1.4 and a Sigma EX 20 1.8, and I've hardly touched the 16-45 since I got the 20. Now I'm thinking about trading in the zoom to get another prime. Not sure which yet, likely in the 75-85 range. I guess I'll need more loot than the zoom will bring too.
Anyway, back to your problem; there's movement in the front element, as in the font lens glass!? That doesn't sound good...
