so, my expected "unexpected" talk with the boys about work happened today. i was given the option of a 4 month probation to see if my performance picked up or i'd be fired; or i can work less than an hour a day for those 4 months and still get fired.
since i've hated this job for years now, i opted for the minimal work with pay and added myself to another consultant firm at lunch.
yay for job hunting properly!
a little back story on my decision...
worked with this company as an "employee" for 8 years, this past summer i was suddenly a contractor when it was convenient for them; so that changed the work relationship. i have gotten 3 raises in 8 years. i've received half of my contracted bonus for that time frame. my email has been incorrectly encoded for half a year, and yet they still send documents to that address so i can't easily access / have to explain over and over that the email is misconfigured.
basically, it's become a broken record of a shitty job.

i hear ya dude! i seriously need a new job asap. They were thinking of firing everyone and starting out fresh! who does that? anyways. Im sure things will get better for ya
