this past weekend was pretty relaxed. friday we were going to go a black light mini-putt but the weather turned shitty and we stayed in due to a snow storm. snow! i'm so happy, i'll be riding soon 
on saturday i suggested jen open a certain box under the tree so i could get her board together for our trip mid-week.
here's the finished setup. a semi-wide freestyle twin with mid-range flow bindings. it's her first board, so i helped a bit. i suggested flows over the usual 2 strap ratchet system 'cause after using those for almost 20 years, i kinda hate em. my new bindings are 2 strap ratchet though .. it's hard to change sometimes
during christmas vacation we're gonna escape her family once or twice to go riding
oh yeah, we also 'saved' a little male betta fish while i was hunting for an automatic feeder for the reef. jen chose the fish and small piece of wood; i chose a little $30 1.5gl kit and a natural small substrate. overall the little guy was kinda expensive but he's not dying of ph burn in a small cup, and jen's got a pet at home.
