There is a professional photographer from New York in my area shooting for an upcoming art exhibition and was looking for assistants. i think im finally ready to list myself as a Photographer hopeful.

Now that im in school and learning more and more everyday, i think im finally ready to shoot a real set.

So, i just finished up my mid-terms, and fuckin eh everything is goin sweet. i got 90% on a project, and 80's across the board... except my general education class... i dunno how im doin.

but ya, now i have a week off to chillllllllllllllllll tongue

Haha, no worries.

I just used a studio flash on the right of the model with a diffusser square pannel, very simple.

As for finding a happy balance with those pics, just do a white balance white in RAW! It works for me pretty much all the time.

Haha I know I have the same problem. Sometimes I have very clear that I want to have a pic well white-balanced, but others I spend hours touching up the colours until I like it.

I prefer the second bluish pic, I always prefer cold tones.

So im in school for Digital Photography.
I have a new Digital SLR camera, (nikon D90) and their is new software out in the market (adobe photoshop CS4) as we all know.
Now i was a bit upset that the school was teaching CS3 still. but w/e not gonna complain.
so the school is stocked full of nice iMacs with CS3...

I got the d90 today!!! i'm still getting my head around it all even though its similar layout to my d40x its soo different at the same time!! I've never worked with raw files before how does it work? Do i just shoot it and edit them on cs3 then save them as jpeg?? i've read so much and tried it but couldn't work it out!
