I'm moving to north hollywood at the end of september so everything is crazy right now. As of tommorow I will be leaving my beautiful house that i've been living in with my best friends for the past two years and moving back in with my parents to save money. I quit my job at my bakery and will be starting up my old construction job again to make money. I am just now editing all the footage that my sketch comedy crew
( the Fanny Pack ) has been shooting for the past month, which is very tedious. Hopefully it will all be good enough to help get me into the Groundlings Improv school in hollywood. Some of my comic friends have been driving up to Battle Mountain every other weekend to do standup for the locals, which at first I thought was lame. But it turns out the guy who owns the club, owns a hotel ( free lodging ) it's a paying gig, and the locals love comics and buy you tons of drinks. They said the crowd alone is worth the drive, So I signed up for three appearances. That should be fun.
I wasn't sad about leaving Reno until some of my best friends started discussing going away parties and stuff. But overall I'm very happy. And aside from all the work coming up ( which really isn't all that bad ) I think I'm going to have a pretty kickass summer. Lots of BBQ's and trips to lake Tahoe and S.F. and beer and skateboarding and kissing pretty girls. I'm stoked! Plus it's goin to be cool chillin with Moms before I head out into the real world forever. I just bought a new C.D. to celebrate. It's a band called 'Iron and Wine' which is really just one guy on layered tracking. I highly recomend him. It's very soft and beautiful, like my ass.
