Hurray! I am employed again!
The move went relatively smoothly. We are all settled in at our friends' place. It is a tight squeeze, but so far we are having a splendid time. We will see how it goes when real life kicks in, but so far so good
I had a job interview at one of the local call centres (oh joy, oh bliss) and totally aced the interview. The recruiter offered me the job before the interview was even over. 
The money will be half decent - although anything looks good right about now, since I haven't had a paycheck of any sort since March.
It is great being back in a city. While living in the country was nice and quiet, it tended to be really quiet most of the time. Not working, and not having anywhere to go was really grating on my nerves. The hustle and bustle is a relief.
