My family has had a cabin up in Manitoba off Lake Manitoba and it is the most amazing place that i have grown up at. A place I consider home and the only place I consider home.
I have traveled my whole life living in Finland, England, Germany, Idaho, Texas, Colorado, Kansas etc. My dads career led us to get up and move every two years or even less.
The two places we lived the longest growing up was Wichita, KS for 5 years and the same amount for Boise, ID. I went to 20 different schools growing up and the hardest part about it was not having a place that feels like home. I always envied when I heard people say " we've been neighbours our whole life" or "I have never left this city" A little secret about me is that I would have died to have that growing up. made me a very outgoing and quick adaptor.
