Fuck Nike + iPod. The last several days I have had to go through a process of deactivating/powering-down/reactivating/powering-down to even get the frigging iPod to recognize the sensor in my shoe. Today the process included an additional power-cycle, the work out started. I checked it at the halfway point -- 3 miles in. It had recorded a total distance of 0.00 miles despite the 31 minutes of running!! I suppose I will send a complaint to the Apple support, but I don't hold much confidence in a resolution. So now, instead of having something record my distance to the hundredth of a mile and determine the average pace (helping to motivate gf and I further to run faster and longer), we will just run "blind." I was excited about being able to track my progress, and make Facebook postings from Nike, etc. Oh well.... Technology isn't always all that it is cracked up to be.

Otherwise, doing well. Had a good evening with the boys last night. They were wired for sound!! We ate dinner then went to the pool to play. It was fun. The elder boy asks each time he is over if gf is going to come over and play! I'd like to take that as a good sign. Gf likes hearing about it, for sure!!
