Institutionalization happens to us all. Everyone grows accustomed to their lifestyle and sooner or later the sacrifices that were unbearable but "temporary" become routine and accepted. Where did we go wrong? Is it just that we're afraid or incapable of producing the results we we're schooled to expect from this great cornucopia called earth? Or does mediocrity become more comfortable over time. Can it really be a capability to fall out of love with someone or could you really just deduce that you like them less than when their glamour was new. Does money really make the world go round or can you really accomplish anything you set your mind too? I remember having goals that i actually believed could be accomplished. Do i lack the sight to accomplish new goals or am i just incapable to work through something unfamiliar to attain what i really want. Are crossroads in life good or bad? No one doubts their potential. My potential. Your potential. Our potential. Step one is synonymous to hardening yourself with resolve. Step one is always given in geometry. Step one is realizing you have a problem. Its also the easiest step. What is step four? Step nine? No New Years resolutions. They're a let down waiting to happen. This year will be pivotal. Tell yourself that and resolutions will follow in the wake of your behavior. I have no doubts. (I have more doubts than certainties) But maybe uncertain is also un-boring. 2005... optimistic. glass half full. Just keep telling yourself that.
