duh, so most of the time i feel at home here in the us, but days like today remind me that i am a foreigner, i got my son up for school like normal, waited for the bus, it didn't arrive, so i thought we were maybe slightly late, so i got dressed etc, drove him there - 5 miles - and the lot is empty, because duh, its vetrens day

ohhhh gawd... it is horrible! There are soooooo many teacher days, holidays, and special event days that I finally decided to sell my children to passing Gypsies..... it was far too confusing.
