So i got ill. Had a mad fever a couple of nights ago. Now just feel spaced out will a sore throat. Spent all day in bed today reading American Psycho and sleeping. Had some excellent dreams last night. I was with my mate Hilly and we were holding onto the bottom of a plane to hitch a ride. I could really feel the velocity of the plane when it was taking off and holding on was hard but once we were in the air it was fine. As our legs were dangling, we had to lift them a couple of times when we flew close to tops of bridges. It was night. I vaguely recall losing and finding my rucksack at a terminal. At another point, I was in my old bedroom at my parents house. I could see through the window there was an amazing sunset happening through some trees in the distance. So I looked through the view finder of my camera but the scene was too far away, so I started changing the lens to a telephoto. Meanwhile, as It was cold outside, the window started to condense and because I had spent too long changing the lens, I missed the sunset. Moved to another scene. My sister was about somewhere, we had been swimming. I glided in the air down some intermittent steps down a slope outside in a park. I do this by subtley pushing the air, almost symbolically in gestures as the raw physicality of this action would not nearly be enough to keep me off the ground, with my hands in a downward motion. I've been able to do this in dreams on and off for years. It's not technically flying, more a sort of floating whilst moving along somehow being propelled a certain distance from the earth, in relation to the contours of the ground. In the dream I remember saying to someone that '..in dreams I can do this much better...' I awoke noting how much different gravity feels in 'waking' life. There were also some nice sparse trees blossoming in an area of long grassland. It was near twilight and the colours of the sunset were mixing with the trees and grass creating some really nice shades. Like a lot of my dreams, this was an area I have been in before. As I get older I get more used to the different places I go I recognise them more. I also find I can remember dreams I had years ago when I'm awake. I couldn't tell you exactly when I had them, though.
Anyway, to anyone reading this, don't stay on my page for too long, you might just catch the fever!
'Fire scythe glint of the sky,
Speak thy names that shadows sigh,
One more in the Golden Womb,
Merge with moon in silent room.
All drain to the bowels of the Sun,
Golden age in depths become.'

annalee:
I love that book its so funny and horrible
Id like to read it again I think. How is your band going?

annalee:
Ah, that is a hassle about rehearsal space. I play bass but hardly ever cause i really like guitar, you could try on EdinburghMetalScene, your band is linked on it right? There is a musicians needed/available board
