gus really wants to go outside. maybe we'll go for walky tonight! although the last time i took him out on a leash, i nearly impaled myself leaping over a fence.

Wow. The conflict between the desire to respect someone on their death bed and the desire to roll my eyes at something like that would probably cause my retinas to detach due to the tension.
