Due to various threats from friends, I feel obligated to post.
My travelling days may be over for a bit, it, seems. Still going to Alaska in the spring for 3 months, but I'm going to have to stay in New Mexico in general if I wanna get this graduate school thing done on in-state tuition.
And, shit, I love it here.
I've been camping all over, seen more great shows than I ever did in NYC or Philly (believe it or not), and I love the patient population. I could really do something for this poor-ass state. They've got great laws for nurse practitioners (gimme power, damnit) and a pretty good nursing school to teach at.
AND where else could I go to find a patient whose managed to get bitten by 60 different rattlesnakes over the past 10 years? Or a full male to female tranny with a wife and raising two perfectly healthy kids.
Boring?

Uh...
I've watched 25 episodes of Arrested Development in the past week during my break from visitors and eaten 6 pork chops in the past 36 hours... No more visitors from afar until October -- that means more pork chops and downloads -- and perhaps, consequently, some meat on these bones. Although, various friends here may keep me from my pork and arrested development diet Luckily, I will probably only be busy with them once or twice a week. I will turn them on to my porkish ways if they become obstacles to my happiness.
Oh, and I've changed my dating status on SG... Not sure why. Maybe it'll make me post more.
