So, I was looking around at some of those "Jews at Christmas" comedy videos on YouTube, and in the same way the site usually works for me, I somehow happened across one of those things where you say "Who the fuck made this and how'd I get to this?"
So I give you "Black Sabbath in Hawaii."
Now it being set in 1974 does a few things. The Hawaiian caricatures become more a reflection of the times than a presumed statement of the assumptions of the creator. Note that it's much closer to Tonto-speak than actual Hawaiian pidgin-English. And the really-fucking-old lei/lay puns were well, 32 years less ancient back in those days.
Every cartoon back in the day had to have a goofy pet (Grape Ape) and bands that started playing during the chase scenes, often with odd or improvised instruments (Fat Albert, Pussycats in Outer Space, etc.).
Even more than the obvious Ozzy humor, I like the more subtle jabs at Tony Iommi. Ozzy is OBVIOUSLY funny. Tony Iommi you just look at and listen to for a minute, and he's actually a bit funnier.
