So we just had the Jubilee weekend over here in the UK and basically, everyone in some form celebrates...whether its dressing up in stupid union jack clothing, eating roasts and having street parties or taking up the opportunity of having a big night out .
It was also my Nana's 90th birthday and my twin nieces Sofia & Isabella's 2nd birthday so during the day my family had set up a surprise party for them all.
If you knew me you'd know my family are pretty damn dysfunctional to say the least so it was a very awkward start to the day! I found it pretty difficult to keep myself composed at times whilst being there as one person in particular was missing. It was the one person who always supported me and encouraged me to be more involved with my family members. The one person everyone was asking about and missed so much. I wish they had of been there.. It didn't feel right without them. Having nieces repeating their names and them brought up in nearly every greeting was particularly difficult. Thank god for my two beautiful nieces and amazing nan anyway, keeping a smile on every ones faces that day.
Everyone seemed to have a good time despite all the awkwardness and funny looks. My sister encouraged me to take all the sandwiches made for 80 ppl that was left...........the car was stocked full of food for the whole bloody weekend when we left.
My best mates G and Ben decided to take me to Sankeys later that evening to see Laid Back Luke. The idea was to of course get mashed and take my mind off things. The night started off with upset and bad moods but we had a decent night in the end.
The come down of course brought me straight back to the hard-hitting torment of reality.
Here's a few photos:

Much love
