Two consumer staples in Sacramento are closing down: Wishing Well and etc. Visited both for their 50% off sale and got a tattoo inspired slide bracelet at etc and this year's Halloween costume at Wishing Well. Great deal on both but sad to see these two stores go down due to the economy and big box stores.
The owners of etc are opening up a cafe in Mexico and from news reports the Wishing Well family doesn't know what they'll do.
Just more proof that the Jackassinator needs to restore state empoyee's pay to boost the economy. If we don't have money to spend, how can we turn this around?

Hi... I just came across your blog by sheer happenstance... how can they close Wishing Well? That's ridiculous! Are both of them closing?

Yes, all Wishing Wells are now closed. Such a great place to get balloon bouquets and party decorations. I always went there instead of Party City. Guess nobody else got the memo.
