I hate to be an ass...but you've requested my friendship twice. My general rule is you gotta leave a comment or something before doing that...just so I like, know who you are and crap.

You definitely made the right choice not to go into social work. You're friend painted a VERY accurate picture of what it's like. Although I worked with domestic violence victims who are disabled. I was the deaf/hard of hearing specialist.

As for going back to school...no shit! I spend my day surrounded by 18 year old little boys!! Half the time it feels like I'm getting a second chance to relive my childhood. The other half of the time I just want to sit alone and think adult thoughts...whatever THOSE are! And since those little boys don't want to hang out with the old biddy in the class...and since I moved far away from home to do this...I have an AWFUL lot of time to myself to think those thoughts. (still not sure what they are)

Anyway, thanks for leaving me a comment I hope there aren't any hard feelings or whatever. I'm just a cranky old lady that way
