OOOOO-Kay! Here's a little confusion I'd like someone to clear up for me.
I have been told repeatedly by staff to keep my makeup to a minimum, keep the background not-too-busy - focus on the model, and don't 'over-theme'. Right, other Hopefuls? Am I wrong yet?
I just looked at Manko's new set. Let me disclaim by saying that this Girl is one of my favorites and her sets are always great. Now - there HAS to be another set of rules once you become an SG, there must be! I've asked about this apparent double standard and not gotten any real response. Manko's sets (as well as some of the other Girls) are always accompanied by wonderfully detailed backgrounds, heavy themes, and even heavier make-up.
The problem is - I had an awesome theme idea that would have been ruthlessly smartass and totally hot. Staff told me NOT to use it when I ran it by them - said to avoid a big theme. So I had to toss my idea at the last moment and come up with something that I consider very sub-par by comparison.
Where's the logic, please?

And of course on the suggestions, I wanna see you as an SG! As far as makeup goes just keep in mind that apparently with the new way of viewing photosets, a little makeup will go a long way! They've been suggesting to us SGs that we still wear makeup if we want, but to tone it down because a lot will look like clown makeup when the set actually goes up on the site.
