Today has been a good day (night?). Because of my lovely one course at a time school I'm just got done writing a final paper and will luckily have no homework over spring break.

On Thursday I go to Paris and first ever legal drinking. Sure I'm also excited to go to france after studying french for 5 years and see all the great historical and cultural things, but honestly I just want to get smashed and go dancing with my best friend (who also speaks french and my parents are bringing with us).

I do kinda miss that I won't spend time in my hometown, but really this is a great opportunity and I need to get away from everything:

-my current class is crushing my soul

-my best friend at school right now feels that it's her right to order me around and i'm not the type to put up with that so we're constantly at odds

-i'm starting to think my boyfriend is just me settling. He's not all that I want and he's not fantastic. I really have always thought that I need to eventually be with someone fantastic.


I just can't wait to be drinking some wine in a french cafe.
