I just couldn’t resist this as my first blog homework....
There are so many people in my life who deserve a “money can’t buy” present (my lovely Mum, for example). But, with her birthday just before Christmas too, I’d have to buy for my bestie; Sarah.
She won’t see this post (as she’s not a member) so I can get all emosh without her telling me to suck it up! We’ve been best friends since we were 11 but I’ve barely seen her for the last 10 years as she’s been travelling around Europe, Australia and New Zealand. I miss her daily, but more so at this time of year. We should be out having birthday drinks, her telling me I’m a mess whilst I hug the toilet and then taking the piss out of each other for waking up looking like absolute states.
We’ve both had loads going on recently so I’d love nothing more than to fly her home. Even if it was just for a day. Catch up, get drunk and celebrate like we’re teens again 😂
Let’s hope Santa leaves me a winning lottery ticket in my stocking 🙏🏽
