Had something weird happen. We're hiring for a job position at work and I started getting all these unknown friend requests on my facebook page. Didn't connect the two until I saw the names who had applied for the job. They were scoping me out...lol. I guess they were wanting to know things about their potential employeer to help their chances of getting a job. I live in a small town so everybody knows everybody or someone who knows them.... I found this hilarious. I've heard all about employeers looking at facebook pages of those they are thinking about hiring to see if they are a good fit for the job and thought that was funny enough. But now, apparently , people scope out their bosses too. lol The world of modern social networking at it's best....

that's why people have to be careful what they post online

Yea a lot of employers do it now. A friend of mine used to check facebook, myspace, and twitter to check up on potential house mates. Also if you can find someones screen name you can find out almost all the sites that they comment on because people usually use the same one. Social networking has taken uses for the internet to a whole new level
