Well that was quick--approved the final version of Lost in Revery, collecting the first three Dungeons and Dragons homage novellas in print, and it's now available online. The three novellas have been in Kindle for a while now, but if you're more of a physical book reader, check it out! (I love this cover so much.)

Lots of talk about the endings of series, both with superheroes and sword & sorcery stories. Tired of talking about fan theories and deadly serious endings? My novella about young superheroes who get trapped in a cursed game of Dungeons & Dragons, Roll for Initiative, is free today on Kindle. Check it out on the house!

And if you like it, you can read...

It's been out for a few weeks, but I forgot to mention here--the sequel to "Echo and the Sea," "Poseidon's Scar," is now available in paperback and Kindle. This one was a ton of work but so much fun to write. Check it out if you like myths, Atlantis, Aquaman-ish adventures, pirates, or Amazons. Among other things.

... okay, so I blew out a softbox and probably gave myself lasting damage from the fumes, but I think I got a cyberpunk headshot out of this. Not bad for one light, a few gels, and a timer, right?

Echo and the Sea is free this weekend on Kindle. It's the story of the heir to Atlantis, assassination plots, a war with the surface world, were-sharks, pirates, wizards, mermaids, and stolen submarines. Also the sequel is due out in January/February, so now's the perfect time to get caught up.

Pick up a copy on me this weekend. Tell your friends. Everyone loves were-sharks,...

I'm giving away a bunch of digital, holiday related superhero short stories this month because why not, right? This weekend: the Indestructibles take on Krampus. Because why not, right?

Free on Kindle all weekend right here.

My new publisher is doing a fun one-day giveaway of my first book, the Indestructibles! One review called it "the JLA meets the Breakfast Club," but I think it's more like Teen Titans meets Gilmore Girls. Or something. Anyway, if you like young superheroes bumbling their way through learning how to save the day, check it out. Free all day this Saturday (Pacific Time,...

I’m half way ish through book 2.  I have laughed out loud several times.  Thank you for writing something awesome 💙.  I had my hat on while I was reading it....I was all...red...orange...yellow...started petting my hat before I made it through the sentence. Haha.

Thanks for checking them out, @chef! I'm really proud of the series. (And glad you caught the Jayne reference. Entropy Emily's all about the pop culture references.)

After months of work, the new editions for the Indestructibles are now live. New covers, new publisher... and I'm pretty psyched. It's been a journey. Of course now it's time to get to work on the 5th book in the series before the readers get frustrated. No rest for the wicked, right?

A 2nd edition of my first book series is launching right now, as we speak. New covers. New publisher. VERY exciting. But for a brief window, as the old version is taken offline and the new version goes live, there will be a short period of time when my first book series will be unavailable for purchase. A few hours, maybe a day. And it...

I didn't think I could do it, but I blocked off an entire week, nothing on the calendar, to hit the deadline for the sequel to Echo and the Sea and tonight, seven days and 36,000 words later, the draft is done.

I feel like I'm living in one of those memes like "Sex is great, but have you tried finishing your novel?"

No rest...
