So, yeah, you guys hear about this triple homicide where a mom killed her kids because she missed their father and tried to kill herself? Yeah, my dad's working that case. I knew nothing of it until I'm flipping through the channels and see Kim Culp (a guy that works for the sheriff's office) escorting the woman and my dad behind him on CNN.
I'm mad worried about my dad cuz I know this has got to be really hard on him. Its the first I've really heard of it and its late, even though I'm sure he's still up since he gets off at 3 on Mondays during this schedule rotation, I do believe.
I so hope he gets that open captain's position. Not that this case would have any effect on it. Its just he's been there for over 20 years, and he deserves it for all that he's done for the department. Plus it would get him out of working the streets every night. That really does something to ya, you know.
I'm just awe struck at the whole situation. Its just reaks like a Greek tragady. Does it not?
On the lighter side, I should be up loading some pics to my albums from my week away. Nothing very fancy.

I hate hearing about those things. I give your father credit for doing what he does for a living... I wouldn't be able to handle some of the things that cops / detectives have to witness.
kind of scares me to see where things are going. thankfully, with people like your dad out there, there is hope!
